REGENERATIVE MEDICINE PRP Injections — Platelet-Rich Plasma therapyPlatelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy uses a concentrated sample of your own blood — rich in growth factors — to accelerate healing in injured tendons, ligaments, muscles, and joints. Dr. Faris offers PRP injections as a non-surgical option for patients who have not responded adequately to conventional treatment. PRP is particularly effective for chronic tendon injuries, osteoarthritis, and soft tissue conditions that are slow to heal on their own. ✓ Tennis elbow and golfer’s elbow ✓ Patellar tendinopathy (jumper’s knee) ✓ Plantar fasciitis ✓ Knee and hip osteoarthritis ✓ Rotator cuff tendinopathy | 💉 How PRP works Your own blood. Concentrated. Injected where you need it most. A small amount of your blood is drawn, placed in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets and growth factors, and then injected precisely into the injured area. The process takes about an hour and is performed right here in our office. Is PRP right for me? PRP is typically considered after conservative treatments — rest, physical therapy, or injections — have not provided sufficient relief. Schedule a consultation with Dr. Faris to discuss whether PRP is appropriate for your condition. |
